衣装合わせ Handmade costume and traditional costume

土曜日、よんぶらこの、ハロウィーン衣装作りの試作が完成。みんなが楽しんで作れるよう、工夫してみたが、布代が１人５００円かかり、全体で７００円かかってしまった。私は、昔からハロウィーンの衣装を作ってきたので、「手作りの方が、既製品の安物よりお金がかかる」というのは知っていて、目的は、「できあいの安物ではなく、自分の手で、工夫して作る喜びを楽しんでもらいたい」、ひいては、子どもたちに、「お金で買うのではなく、手で工夫して、自分の思い通りのコスチュームが作れるんだ」というのを知って欲しかったからなので、理解してもらい、楽しんでいただけたらなあ、と思う。

という懐事情が厳しい中で、昨日、黒い布を人数分１３メートル注文した所、間違えて濃緑というのを買ってしまい、、、青ざめてしまった。布は、切ってしまうので、返品がきかない。仕方なく、黒布を注文し直す。濃緑の布を手に、呆然とする私に、相方が、「これありきで、使えるプロジェクトを、別に考えるしかないだろ」と一言。わが家の家計にも響いているのに、さらっと切り替えてくれた。「こんな色、来年にも、使えないよねえ、、、」と言ってたが、ふと「クリスマス！」と思いついた。深緑なので、これで、クリスマスツリーが作れる。前から、布を使っての、クリスマスツリーを作ってみたいと思ってたのだ。どこかのお店か、施設の飾りとして、提案できるものを、デザインしてみよう。怪我の功名で、なんか、いいものが作れるかも？

久々の、大きなミスだったけど、相方がフォローしてくれるタイプで、よかった、、、
I am doing free class for local moms of 1-2 years old to make halloween costume this year. It costed 500yen only for the black clothes so in total, it will cost 700 including hat and decorations. One said, it is too expensive and I was a little down since I already knew it is not cheap to make handmade costume compared with cheap dollar shop kinds of costume. The purpose here is to teach the joy to make own design and let kids to show it is possible to make own costume by hands-they do not have to buy everything. 

I mistook to buy 13m deep green clothes then I had to buy another black clothes in addition. I was at lost with 13m deep green clothes in my hands and half cried, what shall I do? My husband said to me, "you should plan another project based on this green clothes. That's only answer" Well,,,then I hit the idea-Christmas Tree! I have wanted to make the Christmas Tree using big drape of clothes. I designed it and found the shops or schools as a decoration. Can be good chance?

例えば、帽子に飾り付けをすると、こうなるし、、、Hat can be like this with decorations

上のコートにレースをつけると、ゴスロリ風にも、できる。プリップリにしたかったら、手芸屋さんや１００均で買い込んでも楽しい。Coat can be fancy with laces.

ちなみに、本物の仮装。私たちの住む地域は、空前の少子高齢化地域。神社の秋祭りの稚児行列に参加者が足りず、マンション住まいのよそ者の私たちにまで、声をかけてもらった。台風通過で、お祭りは中止になったが、衣装を着せてもらった。Then we got real costume at the local shrine for autumn festival.

最初は、ご機嫌だったが、First she was happy

衣装が進むと、機嫌が悪くなっていく。後ろ姿がかわいい。but gradually got bored for heavy clothes.

暑いし、重いし、で脱ぎたがる。お菓子でつる。she tried to take off the clothes, so the lady gave her  snacks.

ぶーたれ顔。せっかくなのに、、、、Unhappy face.
