とりの絵 Birds for hanging scroll

リトルアーティストで、掛け軸を作るための、サンプル作りで、
まずは、ナノカに、「とりの絵」を描いてもらう事にした。
We drew the birds as the sample for next Little Artist, birds hanging scroll project.

出だし、順調に思えたが、羽根で苦労して、投げ出す。It looked OK, but Nanoka soon gave up.

私も、自由に描いたら、ナノカも気が楽かと思ったが、思うようにいかないらしい  I drew a bit free style, and she did, too, but still did not go well.

紙を大きくしてみる。She drew on bigger paper.

じゅうぶん、いいと思うのだが、いじけた気分が出ている。It seemed me to be OK, but her emotion(down) appeared on the picture.

鳥というのは、こどもには、案外、難しいらしい。
クチバシと、羽があれば、それっぽく見えるので、
あとは、自由に描けばいい。
私から見ると、じゅうぶん、いい感じなのだが、
なんか、納得がいかないようだ。
I thought any kinds of birds would be good,
so she would draw freely, but the birds were not easy for her.

ナノカが描いていたものを、二人で着色。すこし、乗ってきた。We drew together on what she gave up on the way.

もっと、塗りたい、というので、私の描いた鶴？を塗る。She got motivated and wanted to draw more, so I drew crown and painted together.

これも、ナノカが途中で投げ出したものを、再利用。I added some lines to Nano's unfinished piece and painted together.

いじけた気分で、描きなぐったのも、塗ってみた。this one was, too.

 一晩明けると、描いた鳥が、思ったより、よい事に気付いたのか、
「今日も、したい！」と言う。
Next morning, she said, she would like to draw more birds.

最初は、クレパスで drew pencil and crayons

さらに、絵の具で、、、painted with watercolor

とうとう、納得のいく作品が、できあがったようです。Done. She was happy now.

どうやら、ナノカの、一番のネックは、「羽根の形」だったようだ。

リトルアーティスト当日は、鳥の絵が、だいたい１時間、
掛け軸制作が、１時間ぐらいになるよう、考えていたけど、
「鳥」が、難しい、て子もいることを、考えて、
すこし、資料を足しておこうと、思った。

いずれにしても、私の鳥より、ずーっと、子供の鳥は、味わい深い。
どんな鳥が出てくるか、楽しみだなあ〜
