a story a day 一日一話

I wrote very very short story　once a year. Originally "I am Tamako, cat" was written for this project.This is from two years ago. the title is "On the moonlight night".The story is:

an old man who got drunk and sang a silly drunker's song on way home. He met racoon mom and kids. Racoon mom was mad about old man's song. She insisted that had bad influence on kid's music sense. Racoon mom said her husband was now in the city to practice opera-that is good music, and kids would practice drams with that music. Old man's good feeling had gone. He minded it afterwards.　Old man returned to see what was opera like. Racoon dad was singing laudly. Racoon kids could not beat the dram with opera. Dad gave up. Kids now sang funny drunker song with good dram for fun. Mom and dad was happy to see that. Old man was happy to see that, too.

母の友では、毎年秋に一日一話という短いお話を載せます。私も数回書かせてもらっていて、

「ネコのタマコでございます」も、もとは、このために書かれた、短いお話を発展させたものです。

上のは、おととし書いた、「つきよのばんに」という話です。今年は、「けむしのケムコ」という話が

載る予定です。

Very very short story (in this project, it is within 800 letters to 1200 letters) cannot contain

complicated situation. Especially because this is for very young kids and it is written for listening (parents will read for kids), it cannot contain comlex about time, place, and characters. But limitation causes some different objects. I learnt a lot from this.

短いお話（ここでは８００字から１２００字）には、入り組んだ物語は作れません。特に、ここでは、小さな子供に親御さんが読んで聞かせてあげる、という目的があるので、音だけで理解できる、という制約があります。時間、場所、登場人物が混乱するのは、よくないでしょう。そういう制約を意識して書く事は、実はとても、勉強になりました。
