Speech finished 講演会終了

平戸市のやよい幼稚園での講演会、無事、終了しました。突然、相方が出張になり、ナノカをバスで送迎してからの会場入りで、バタバタしてパニックになりかけましたが、なんとか、終わらせられて、ホッとしています。
今回は、「お母さん達に、ご家庭で絵本を読んでもらいたい」、という幼稚園側の希望に応えて、自分の体験を交えて「絵本子育て」お話しました。まだ、２年程の子育てで、結果が出ている訳でもないので、確証もなく、おこがましい、、、という気持ちもありましたが、知ってる事、実践してる事、楽しい話、で絵本が広がっていく事を願って、お話しました。
下は、当日配った、ハンドアウトに載せたエピソード。前日、プリンターが調子が悪く、ボヤボヤになってしまったので、申し訳のないプリントになってしまいましたが。
帰りには、地元の野菜がつまった「バスケット」をお土産にもらいました。いろいろ入っていて「かさじぞう」みたいでした。おめでたい気分になりました。
I finished the speech at the Kindergarten in Hirado city. It was about "bringing up kids with picture books" from my own experiences. I hope that motivated moms to read picture books for their kids.

I got some souvenir: the vegetable basket that people brought from their farm. I felt funny and happy.

ナノカが、英語の本を選んでくる事がある。Nanoka asked me to read English book that she would not understand at all.

いいから読め、という。頑固。I told her that she would not understand it since it was written in Enlgish. But she still insisted on my reading.

一ミリもわかってないはずだけど、おとなしく、聞いてる。I ended up reading through. She quietly listen even she understood none of them.
