ずっと、ミシンが欲しかった。迷いに迷って、１年間あちこちで試し縫いをして、先日、とうとう虎の子をはたいて、買ってしまった。ハクスバーナ社のエメラルドちゃん。これで、いろんな家の中のものも手作りするのだ。おしゃれで高価な、ブランドのインテリアでこだわって揃えるのは無理だけど、ニトリとかアイキアの、あきらかに量販店のものだけで家の中を全部揃えていくことは、考えただけで気がめいる。コタツカバーも、ソファーカバーも、ひざ掛けも、クッションカバーも、自分で縫ってしまえば、(いまどき、安売り量販より安く上げることは無理だけど）、自分なりのこだわりの生活ができる。
せっかくなので、オリジナルグッズも作ろう！と、ブックカバーを試作してみた。作ってみると、シンプルに布処理する方法を考えるだけでも、一苦労。まだ、改善の余地だらけ。
I finally bought a sawing machine. I have wanted one for a long time and for a year I was looking around, trying many in various shops. This brings me the life surrounded by what I like. Economically it is impossible for me to purchase whatever I like for my interior such as designer's bland products, but I would be so unhappy if I bought all the interior from cheap discount shops. If I handmade the sofa cover, cushion cover, table clothes and so on, I can keep my original fashionable life(I cannot say it is cheaper than discount shop. They are too cheap now).
I can make original goods, too. First, I tried to make book cover.
