「海へのお礼」運動 Thank you beach act

今週末、海に行った。
そして、ゴミが気になった。
We went to the beach on the weekend
and found it very dirty with lots of plastic garbages.

ここ数年、ずっと、ゴミの量が気になっていたが、
豪雨の後だったこともあり、日曜日に行った尻くさり海岸のゴミは、半端なく
浮いてるビニールの量も、体にまとわりつくほどだった。

ナノカが３歳ぐらいの頃、
海に行くと、必ず、ゴミを見つけて、
「いや〜ね〜」
と言っていた。
しかし、今は、遊ぶことに夢中になり、ゴミをよけて、
遊んでいた。

それで、いいんだろうか？

そして、マイクロプラスチック問題。
海に永遠に漂い続け、海洋生物に影響を及ぼす、プラスチック類が、
こんなに、波打ち際に、転がっている。
それを、だれも、気にせず、遊んでいていいんだろうか。
I was very worried about micro plastic problems.
There were so much plastics around the beach
then once they went to the sea, they would flow in the water
forever-influencing badly in the environment.

拾ってみた。
We picked what we saw around.

隣に、あらたに、家族連れが来て、
ママさんが、タバコを吸い始めた。
そして、私が拾ったゴミの山に、吸い終わったタバコを投げ入れた。

「ゴミ、捨てないでください」
と、私が注意すると、
「あなたも、ゴミ、捨ててましたよね？」
と言われた。
「いえ、私は、ゴミを集めてたんです。」
と答えたら、しぶしぶ、吸い殻を、収めた。
Mom next to us smoked and threw to my collecting garbage.
I asked her
"Don't throw away the garbage."
she was upset to say
"You threw some, too."
I answered,
"No these were what I collected."
She stop complaining and kept her waste.

その後、分類してみた。
キャップ、ストロー、パッケージ、ひも状のもの
I classified them.

 一袋分拾ってみると、
心なしか、海がきれいに感じた。
でも、多分、気のせい。それぐらい、ゴミは落ちていた。
I felt a bit cleaner after collecting.
It was not actually. There were thousands of garbage.

それでも、このことは、画期的に感じた。
 「そうだ！海で泳ぐたびに、一袋分ずつ、ゴミをついでに、拾う、
という運動を、拡げたら、どうだろう？」
But still I felt it would be very meaningful.
"Can it be a campaign that everybody collect a pack of plastic garbage
every time we went to the beach to play there?"

今年も、たぶん、海水浴に、何度か、行くことになる。
たくさん、海に遊んでもらう。
その分、海にお返しをする。
そんなつもりで、じぶんたちの出したゴミ以外に、一袋分、ゴミを拾う。
We would go to the beach several times this summer, too.
The sea would give us fun time,
so it would be return gift to the sea
to remove a package of the plastic from it.

それで、海とプラスチックの関係を考えるきっかけにならないか。
少なくても、子どもたちに、汚い海が平気になってほしくない。
そして、いつか、商品や流通を議論する時に、思い出して欲しい。
It could be a chance to start to think relationships between
sea and plastic as own problems.
One day kids would remember this experience
when they produce the new productions
or concrete the new social system.

今年の夏、わが家は、「海へのお礼」運動をやることにしました！
So my family will do "Return gift to the sea" Act, this summer.
