St. Valentine's day in Japan is a little different from original "the day of love" in West. It started as a chocolate companies promotion and they said that it was the day when girls could tell their love to the boys. I do not know why girls could not tell love on rest 364 days, but shy girls at that time liked the idea and they bought chocolates to tell their loves to the boys. Now I got married and I am out of the culture of "telling my love with chocolate." I felt a little sad since chocolate and packages in the stores looked very cute and lively. But, wait,,,now we have Nano at home. She would grow and in the future she will ask me to make chocolate with her. I am so looking forward to that and feel very happy to have a girl.
On the first year, I made Tiramisu and last year I could not make cakes since I was sick by pregnancy. Anyway, it was not "telling love" day but "eating chocolate" day. And I would repeat this kind of less excited love days as the matter of "telling love day" 相方にはティラミスを手作りしたり、ツワリの去年は買ってきたミルクチョコと実用的なパーカーをあげたりしてきた。

But Nanoka is different! She will grow and some day she loves the boys. Then we will make chocolate or cookies or something together. How exciting! I felt so happy about having girl to imagine the future Valentine's day.

As imagining the day when she would bring chocolate to the boys, "If the boy said, "Big Nanoka gave me" and made fun of her? She would be hurt to come home,,," I am worried from now.

But looking at Nano, she was gathering whatever she wanted and never release. She was a kind of greedy right now. "Well. she could be one of the girl who make list of boys and hand chocolates from top1 to top 10 to fish some. OK. I think the girls should be strong!"
