Aunty Kae's Diary おばバカ日記「ハルトの夏休み」

先日、ハルトが電話ができるようになった話を書いたと思う。その時は、「ハルトはじいじのおうちで、じいじとあそびたいよう」という、かわいらしい電話をかけてきたのだが、今度は、さらにグレードアップした電話がかかって来たと、じいじ（父）が教えてくれた。
On the other day, I wrote that Haruto now could talk on the phone. At that time, he called up my dad and asked, "I wanted to visit Grandpa's house and play with you." This time, he got new way of asking.

それは、先月、暑くなり始めた頃にかかってきたのだが、
Haruto called grandpa(my dad) at the beginning of this month

「夏休みなんだけど、どうしようか」と、打診して来たらしい。
and said, "Summer vacation will come. What do you think about that?"

気のきいた父は、「そりゃあ、ハルトが来てくれたら、じいちゃんは、うれしいけどなあ〜」と言い、思い通りの反応に気をよくしたハルトは「じゃあ、行こうかなあ」と、もったいぶって返事をしたらしい。おそるべし、３歳児！
母が、「そんな思い通りに、みんなが対応してたら、勉強にならないよ。『夏休みかあ、いいなあ』って、とぼけちゃえばいいのに」と、さらに難しいことを言ってたが、そんな事をやり合っていたら、よけいに、コミュニケーション能力だけ、発達しちゃうんじゃないかなあ〜。何はともあれ、ハルトにとって、世界は、まだまだ、思い通りになる、愛情豊かな場所なんでしょうねえ〜。
My dad was gentle man and he answered nicely, "well, it would be so pleasure of mine if Haruto would visit us." Haruto got the answer that he had expected and answered, "OK, so I can go." Now he started tactics. What a 3 years old boy!
My mom said beside dad, "it is no good to answer as he expected. You should say, "Summer vacation, So what?"" It is too severe for the small kid. Moreover, he would get much advanced communication ability by those trainings. Anyway, the world is still filled with too much love for Haruto.
