文化ってなに？ What means building culture?

She was so happy to start ballet that practiced by herself everyday.

Last Sunday we went to concert that we could join in each style for the last 30 minutes. She brought her shoes.

Most of audience just sat quietly. A dancer invited her and Nanoka joined the performance.

 日曜日、島瀬美術センターで、ピアニストの重松壮一郎さんの、即興演奏コンサートがあった。
最後の３０分間は、フリーセッションで、踊っても、歌っても、楽器で入ってきても、オッケーということで、ナノカに聞くと、「踊る！」と言って、バレエシューズまで持参していた。
しかし、なかなか、みんなが演奏に加わる、という雰囲気が、出てこない。
ナノカも、恥ずかしそう。端っこで、すこし、柔軟体操をしていた所、
ダンサーの女性が、誘いに来てくれて、ふらふらと、階段の方へ、、、

踊る、というよりは、じゃれ合う、という感じで、
コロコロ転がりながら、ダンサーさんのベールを追いかけていたが、
その姿は、「音楽の妖精ってこんな感じかな」 と思った。
子供にしかできない、音やアートとの共演なのかな、と思い、見ていた。

夜、ナノカが寝てから、ふと相方が「文化って、何、て話だよ」と、語り出した、、、At that night, husband suddenly argued about the culture,,,

I just did sketches there.私は、スケッチするぐらいしか、共演できませんでしたが。

「文化の底上げって、どう思う？」と、相方が、話し始めた時、「は？」と思ったが、
彼なりに、ここ数週間の、文化やアートの体験や、話し合いのことを、考えていたらしい。
（私も、同じ場にいたのだが、身近なテーマすぎて、特に、考えてなかった）
 「福山雅治が、長崎に年に一度来て、文化の底上げになるか、て話だけど、、、」
そんな話、あったっけ？（どうやら、あんまり、聞いてなかったようだ、、、）

ビッグネームの歌手が、商業的に曲を出し、それが売れて、みんなが買う。
文化の一部ではある。
コンサートに行けば、楽しい。CDを聞けば、ふと、なごむかもしれない。
それが、きっかけで、歌手を目指す子供も、多少はいるかもしれない。
でも、やっぱり、ちょっと、遠い。
人と文化の距離は、変わらないままだ。

どこか別の世界から、やってくるものだと、
受け身に、受け止めるだけになってしまう。
でも、古来、人は、日々、歌ったり、踊ったり、祭りを楽しみ、自分も演じる、
担い手でもあった。
みんなで、歌えば、違った喜びがあり、共感がある。
自分で、感じたままに、絵を描けば、心のどこかにあったわだかまりが
昇華されることもある。
誰かが、悩み、書いた詩が、同じく、心を傷めた人に寄り添うこともある。

ただ、感じて、表現する、個人的なことが、文化の基礎なのだ。
子供は、音を聞けば、ぴょんぴょん跳ねるし、適当な即興曲も歌う。
音の喜びを知っているし、言葉の楽しさも感じられるし、ただ感じるだけの心がある。
だから、その場へ、連れて行ってあげてほしい。
きっと、一緒に行った、大人も、同じように、楽しい時間を過ごせるはず。
文化は、人間の喜びなんだもの。

酔っ払いに、議論をふっかけらえて、私の方が、のちのちまで、
考えちゃった「文化って、なに？」でした。
When I was in NY, most of people said, "I am an artist."
Even they were not professional it was true.
Because artist means "the person who do art and who love art."

Now I am living at the Western end of Japan.
I participated in the meeting of artist group.
They talked about "How invite the ordinary people to the culture"
Actually only a few of citizen came to museum, library and music events.

By nature, people love art and culture.
The art and culture were born from people's everyday life.
They sing songs for joy, played the play at the festival, danced for harvest.
But now they only receive the music and art that comercialy produced.
Now people do not have chance to make the art and culture by themselves.
The culture is getting far and far from people.

In the collapse of the world, the art and culture is still one
that give message in a peace way.
I still have hope that make peace possible.
That's why I try to give as much chances as possible to kids
to feel art and culture.
