こうばる探検隊 夏の巻「水べの木かげでいきものさがし」報告 Nature Work of Kobaru

午前中は、川で自然観察をしました。In the morning, we did nature field work at Kobaru river.

講師の中原さん。ドンコ、ヤマトシマドジョウ、カワムツ、ムギツク、カマツカ、アカハライモリ、数種のヤゴ、イシガキチョウ、ミナミヌマエビなどと出会いました。Mr. Nakahara showed kids several rare creatures.

午後は、川辺にピアノを持ち込み、生演奏で歌を歌ったり、In the afternoon, my friend brought piano to the river side to play, and people sang the songs there.

オカリナの方が演奏する中、自由に水遊びをしました。Then kids played pure water river.

こうばる探検隊　夏の巻も、無事、開催することができました。

こうばるは、５０年近く前から、ダム予定地として、
住人と県との間で、争われてきた場所です。
県による強制収用が、今年９月１９日に取得され、
１１月１８日に、明け渡し期限がやってきます。
それ以降、県は、住んでいる人から、強制的に、土地を奪っていい、
という事になります。

こうした政治的な話は、難しい、
と思う人も、多いかもしれません。

そこで、こうばるに、とりあえず足を運んでもらいたいと
自然観察会を開くようになりました。

こうばるは、自然が豊かで、生きものがたくさん、観察できます。
日本の多くの河川が、護岸工事をして、生き物の数が激減する中、
皮肉にも、ダムの予定地であったこともあり、そのままの自然が
多く残されています。

こうばる探検隊で、美しい自然や、いきものの面白さに触れた
子ども達の中から、研究者が生まれるかもしれない。
問題意識を感じた子の中から、環境学の専門家になる子がいるかもしれない。
本物から得る、エネルギーは、すごいと思います。

こうした里山は、以前は、他にも、たくさん、あったのかもしれません。
でも、昭和の高度経済成長時代を経て、日本全体から、多くが
失われていきました。
「そういえば、昔は、このあたりも、ホタルがいたのよ」
「昔は、ドジョウを、取ってたなあ」
「なんでも、釣れたのにね」
と言った言葉、本当に、よく聞きます。

日本は、すでに、多くを失ってきたと思います。
失われていくものと、得られるもの。
もう少し、ていねいに、話し合いをするべき時代が
来たんじゃないかと思います。

前回、春の巻、で初参加した、Tさんは、
自然の美しさに感動して、「なにか、お手伝いしたい」と
今回、ピアノ伴奏を申し出てくれました。
下見もして、選曲もていねいに考えました。
当日、美しい木かげの小川に、ピアノと子どもの歌声が響くと、
感動で、涙ぐむお母さんもいらっしゃいました。

素直に感じたことを、
できることを、できる範囲で、することで、
人の心は動かされ、また、次につながっていくのでしょう。

私たちスタッフも、仕事や家庭、雑事その他もろもろを抱えて、
片手間で、運営していますが、
子どもや親御さんの反応を見ると、
やって、よかったなあ、と毎回、思います。

私たちは、入り口となる「こんな場所がありますよ」を知らせる。
そこから先は、無限大。
そう信じたいな、と思います。

Koubaru is the place where people have fight to the prefecture
about dam planting plan.
Most of people know how meaningless this plan is,
but government never consider to stop the plan
since most of plans never changed in Japan.

But we had lost so many precious nature by these economic
base society for last 100 years.

At least we should discuss more before destroying the nature.
It was just 13 families living in this small beautiful village
and they would be forced to move from their land, house.

Sasebo is the city to want to the dam for water,
but actually the poplation got down, and
the water need got down year by year.
50 years old plan was not necessary any more.

But most of citizen has no interests.
They do not want to relate to politics or
any kinds of trouble-they are afraid of talking about that.

In the stream of the citizen's ignoring this topics, beautiful natre
and 13 families human rights are damaging.
I and some people decided to have nature work there
to let people visit and feel the beauty of nature.

We did not ask them anything.
We thought that they would decide what they do.
It could be OK if they thought they need dam.
We believe that people just should know the fact
and thought by themselves.
