クリスマスオーナメント2018

毎年、ナノカの絵を、クリスマスオーナメントにしている。
今年は、バレリーナだ。
This year's ornament which I made based on Nanoka's art was ballerina.

ちなみに、毎年、ザイセンのオーナメントも、一個ずつ、買い足しているが、
今年は、くるみ割り人形だ。（左側は、去年のオーナメント）
We bought German Zaisen ornament only one per year.
This year we bought Nutcracker.

１２月に入って、膨大な量のto do list　を抱えていて、こうした恒例の行事も
「う、めんどうくさいな」と思いつつも、やはり、積み重ねてきた年月の重みは、
大きい。辞めるに辞められない。
In December, I got enormous amounts of "to do list" and still this kind of custom added. I thought "What shall I do this year?" sometimes.
But years we spent was so precious that I could not stop the custom.

去年、色あせて、ボロボロになった白のツリーを、処分して、
今年から、新しいツリーになり、高さも、１８０センチへと、成長した。
混みこみだった、オーナメントも、「もう、少し、あった方がいいな」
という感じに。
昨日は、夕方、ナノカも、まるのオーナメントを縫ってくれました。
We bought new 180 cm tree this year. Ornaments look happier
and we can add more, now.

ナノカが生まれた年は、３０センチほどのミニツリーですら、
閑散としていていたのに、
８年ほどの間に、１８０センチに伸びて、
オーナメントも、一つずつ増え、こんな大きな賑やかなものに。
When Nanoka was born, just 30 cm tree was almost empty,
but in 8yeas, the tree got bigger and busier.

箱を開けて、
１年ぶりに出会うオーナメントに
「なつかしい！」「これ、おぼえてるよ！」
と歓声を上げる、ナノカ。
She opened the box and shouted,
"I remember this!"
to the ornaments that she had met after a year.

当たり前の日常を、ひとつ、オーナメントに凍結させる。
すると、それは、年を経て、幸せな思い出をまとっていき、
何倍もの価値を、家族に残してくれる。
The year ornament was frozen a moment from every day of that year.
But years passed, that became warm memories and
left us hundreds more value to family.

こうした習慣が、to do listを、増やしてしまうのだけど、
それだけの価値があるなあ、とも思う。
This custom gave me one more to do list in busy December,
but still gave me so much things.
