何も起きない物語 Nothing happen

Nanoka was murmuring at the bus.バスで、ブツブツつぶやいている。

Carefully listening, I found the story interesting.思わせぶりな設定に、気になって、尋ねると、オリジナルストーリだという。

I listened to the rest of story. It ended before anything happen. 改まって、聞いてみると、何も起きずに終わってしまった。

ナノカは、本を読んでいない時は、ずーっと、しゃべっている。
 バスで帰り道、ブツブツ言ってたが、下手につつくと、
相手をしなくてはいけないので、放ってあった。
On the bus she kept talking.
I cannot make conversation all the way home, so I let her do.

ふと、耳に、「とてつもなく、お金持ちが、いたのでした」とか
「街じゅう、花であふれかえっているのでした。」など、気になる言葉が入る。
I heard that she said, "There was enormous rich man in the town."
"The town was filled up with flowers."
She seemed to make the story.

そして、「その花屋では、お金はいりません」
「ただし、1日１本だけ、なのです」
と、なにやら、ちょっと、事件が起こりそうな気配がした。
"At that floral shop, you do not have to pay."
"But anybody can get only one brunch per day."
Something will happen!?

どこかで、読んだ話なのかと思ったが、今、即興で話してるという。
座り直して、続きを聞かせてもらうことにした。すると、、、

「その青年は、一本、花をもらうと、お友達に、あげました。おしまい。」
 と、たいした事件も起こらず、サッパリと終わってしまった。
I expected that something would happen, so I listened carefully,
but she ended up, "A young man came and got one flower, then
gave to his friend. FIN!"

設定からすると、とてつもないお金持ちが、財力を持って、
花を買い占めようとするけど、どうにもならない、みたいな展開かと思ったのに。
Nothing happen in the kid's story, even the setting hinted the happenings.
