needle work 刺繍

実家に帰省。でも、親は老年、ナノカは保育園を休んで、私に一日中くっついているので、実際、ゆっくり休めているのは、相方であって、私ではないのかもしれない、、、
とはいえ、「休むんだ」と思って、普段の生活を離れる事は、やはり、大きい。昨日は、ナノカの昼寝した隙に、ずーっと気になっていた、「洋服にアップリケ」をした。普段、少し空いた時間があっても、保育園に預けている時間は、仕事以外の作業をするのは気が引けるし、休日や夜は、日々の「おかず作り」とか雑事にかまけてしまうか、はたまた、一緒に遊んでしまって、即必要ではない雑事、というのは、どんどん後回しになっていく。「刺繍をしたら、いいかも」と思って、買ったトレーナーワンピースだったが、放ったらかしになっていた。
「シンプルが、ステキ」というコンセプトの無印の商品を、いじってしまうのは、オシャレ的にはどうかと思うが、「世界で1つだけの服」は、やはり、いいものだと思う。１から、手作りしてあげる事はできないが、既製品でも、手を加えると、温かみが出る。保育園は、安全面や、着脱のしやすさから、トレーナー文化なのだが、トレーナーはあんまり、バリエーションのあるアイテムではないので、少しでも、楽しく、毎日、着てもらえるよう、工夫してあげたいと思う。
Staying at parent's home, but it does not mean the 100 % rest since they are old and Nanoka is following me all the time. My husband might have good rest from us.
Anyway it is different from the ordinary life. I usually could not do anything but the work relating to my job during the daytime while Nanoka goes to school. I bought a dress and thought I would do some needlework to make it special, but I never had time and just left it. I had done it yesterday during Nanoka's nap.
It was originaly MUJI's discount dress around $15. MUJI's concept is "simple is the best" and it could be stylish just to wear as it is, but for the little girl, the fashion is also "fun" and I wanted her school life a little colorful and cheerful.

ちょっと、大きいけど、似合ってます。Still big, but it is good on her.

週末、高校の同級生である友人に、１０数年ぶりに再会。お母さまが、ブログを見て作って下さったと言う、刺し子の布巾を頂いた。実の、ババ様は、面倒くさがりで、「編んであげる」と言っていたセーターも、一年越しても、一向にできあがる様子がないのに、心遣い頂き、あたたかい気持ちになった。
