picture book and Nanoka 絵本とナノカ

This is her recent favorite book "jumping." She memorized everything, so she was waiting for her favorite pages and laughed aloud at them. It is almost ceremonial for her, but keeps laughing. ナノカの最近のお気に入りに図書館で借りてきた「ぴょーん」という絵本がある。何百回と読まされたので、ナノカは当然、全て記憶している。好きなページがくると、乾いた声で笑う。

In this book, snail is trying to jump and of course he couldn't. When I came to this page, Nano shook her head with difficult face(one of her favorite page, too) Husband said that she was imitating my face expression,,,Well, was I reading with this face?　この本では、ウサギやらカエルやら、いろんな物がぴょーんと飛ぶのだが、カタツムリが飛ぼうとして、「ダメか，，，」と飛べないページがある。ナノカはそこで、必ず難しい顔をして首を振る。変なのを覚えたなあ、と思っていたが、相方曰く「カエちゃんのマネをしてるんだよ」。こんな顔して、読んでたのか、、、

She chose longer story books such as "Grunpa's kindergarten" I was moved when she could listen to such a story book, not baby short concept books. At the same time, she was not patient to keep listening to the whole story through, yet. She flipped the pages to her favorite page and it is really hard for me to read.どこまで理解してるのか怪しいのだが、「はらぺこあおむし」や「ぐるんぱのようちえん」など、長めのお話を持ってきて、通しで聞けた時には、「育ったなあ、、、」と感動した。しかし、基本的には忍耐力が持たないので、気に入ったページだけを探し、ページを読んでるそばからめくるので、とても読みにくい。

Kids wanted to listen to same books again and again. So did Nano. But she does not know how to say that, and she got mad and throw out the books when I read the last page of the book. I tried to ask her not to do that and just say "again" but it is just difficult for her, yet.子供と言うのは、すでに知ってる、好きな本をくり返し読んでもらうのが好きなものだが、ナノカももう一度読んでもらいたい、と常に思っていて、最後のページを読み終わると、ぎゃーっと怒りながら、絵本をたたきつける。なにも、かんしゃくを起こさないでもいいのに、これしか、「読んで欲しい」の表現が見つからないようだ。がっくし、、、

For me, only thing I can do for Nanoka as special treat is reading picture books. I have number of picture book collection which I had collected since I was in high school with little money. I had read books to Nanoka since she was 1 and half month and books are more familiar than toy for Nano. She had her book shelf of baby book and she chose book she wanted us to read and carried to us. For her, half play, so she broughtナノカのために、親として、特別な事はあまりしてあげられないが、絵本だけはたくさんあるので、たくさん読んで育ててあげようと思ってきた。最初は、赤ちゃん絵本を読まれるがままに、聞いてるだけだったナノカも、そのうち、好きなページで指を指したり、手をたたいたりするようになり、さらに、自分で絵本を「こえ」と言って持ってきて、せがむようになった。努力のかいあって、絵本好きになってくれたようだが（なにもしなくても、やっぱり子供は絵本が好きかもしれないけど）、朝から晩まで、本を持ってきて、読め読め言われると、なかなか、しんどい。それも、１回では終わることはない。くり返し、同じ本を読み続けてると、仏教の修行のようだなあ、と思う。最近は、長めの本も選ぶようになった。あまりに回数が多くて、面倒になって、心あらずで読んでると、ばれて、怒られる。こんな事なら、おおげさに最初から読まなきゃよかったと思うが、私の読み聞かせは、わりと派手なので、結構、疲れる。それにしても、どこまでわかっていて、どこまで、わかってないんだろう。子供と本の関係って、見ていても、不思議だなあ、と思う。
