Statement about freedom 自由とは、、、

自由とは、ボンネットの上で、マイケルジャクソンを想って、一人で泣く事だよ。（by にしむらかえ）

２０年来、マイケルジャクソンを心から尊敬して愛し続けた大ファンの友人がいる。一人２０万円のコンサートにも行った、筋金入り、だ。現在妊娠２ヶ月の彼女は、マイケルジャクソンの死に際して、がっくり不安定になってもおかしくない。私は心配して、電話をかけた。

My friend has been a big fan of Michael Jackson for more than 20 years. She spent 2000$ for the ticket. I was worried about her emotion to his death since she was pregnant. I called her.

当日こそ、「いいの。これでマイケルは、苦しまないで済む。私、マイケルの生まれ変わり、産むわ」と頼もしかったものの、次の日以降、やはり落ち込んでしまったようだ。

「なんかね、誰ともマイケルへの想いを共有して、心の中の彼を逝かすことができないのが、さびしいわ。ニューヨークだったら、公園とかでもきっと、みんな音楽ガンガンかけて、一緒に踊って、別れを悼んでるわね。日本って、テレビで有名人がコメントしてて、先日まで、虐待だの変態だの言ってたくせに、音楽界の業績、惜しい人をなくした、みたいな話聞くとイラットしちゃう。どうして、人間って才能ある人間の才能をさんざん楽しむくせに、どうして普通レベルの常識や感覚を求めるんだろう？」

という、考えさせられる事を言ってた。

She decided to make re-born of Michael Jackson as her baby. It sounded like she was OK, but after a while, she was down. She missed how to say good-by to Michael Jackson here in Japan alone. If we are in NY, people are dancing and singing together in the park. In Japan, famous people commented "we will miss genius", those people used to criticize his abuse and fetish only from normal people's standard view. "People are mean and greedy. They enjoy all the products those talented people produce, but they do not accept those talented people themselves. How can they be normal? They had different way of bringing-up, life and sensitivity!"

私も彼女も、才能のレベルもなにもかも天才のての字も及ばない至って静かなアーティストだけど、まがりなりにもそれで食っている。で、まあモノの考え方や、時間の使い方が、すこし普通と違うのは否めない。それがうまく評価されてるときはいいのだが、時に、「そんな生き方はおかしい」と真っ向から否定される事があったりする。例えば、小さな事だけど、駅までに行く道で、ノラ猫に声をかけるぐらいの余裕を持って生きていないと、お話なんて書けない（私の場合は、ですが）。それを、何時間働いて、どれだけ生み出して、どれだけ社会に貢献するか、的な所から見ると、ただの怠け者にも見える。これだけじゃないけど、なんとなく、「普通の常識」は、時に自分を飲み込もうとして、息苦しくなって、逃げ出したくなる。ノラ猫に声をかけて生きていくのも、それなりに割り切りが必要なのだ。

私は、彼女に言った。「ねえ、ここで生きていくんだし、私、人の事なんて、気にしないで生きていきたいって思うよ（多分、ムリ）。海辺に行って、一人で大音量でマイケルかけておいでよ。そこで泣いて、世界中の同じ事想って、海辺や山や屋上で、別れを悼んで泣いてる人を想像して、一緒に泣いておいでよ。自由って、そういう事じゃないかな。」

We, she and I, are artist anyway. We are not like super talented genius like Michael, but still we live on a little bit different life from 9-5 business. As a result, we have different point of view and custom. Sometimes we are criticized by standard. But we are just as we are to produce the art. We cannot be exact standard and still make art. "Go to beach, darling. We are here in Japan, and now we should go to my own road. Otherwise we will end up being standard unhappy girls. The freedom means to ignore people, and go to beach, listen to Michael on the bonnet alone, feeling some other people who are doing same in the park, near the beach, on the rooftop all over the world"

ちなみに、「自由」みたいな抽象的なテーマは、文章が書きにくい課題の代表ですよねえ。これが、「テトラポット」とか、「２層式洗濯機」とかだったら、いくらでも書けるんですけど。私は就職活動の課題作文ってした事ないけど、結構、大きなテーマが出るんですかねえ？
