トマトの苗に水やり。Water tomato.

ミニほうきで、お掃除。Sweep with a broom.

最近、ベランダ菜園を始めた。１３階に住んでいては、土との関わりが薄いな、と感じる。植物や、虫に、小さな頃から触れて、体で感じ取って欲しいし、せっかく自然が豊かな地域に住んでいても、本人が興味を持たなければ、そのまま知らないままで育っていってしまう。最初のきっかけとしては、プランターで育つハーブでもいいかな、と考えたのだ。
同時に、わが家は玄米を、そのつど精米して、 炊いているので、大量のぬかが出る。それで、先に「ぼかし肥料」を作ってしまったので、どうしても、なんか育てなきゃいけなかったのが、本当の所だ。
しかし、私の適当な計画にも関わらず、ナノカは乗ってきて、毎朝、毎晩、たった一つのミニトマトの苗に、せっせと水をやっている。まあ、水遊びの一環だと思うけど、実がなったら、やっぱり、感動するかなあ、と楽しみだ。
今週は、相方が長期出張のため、ナノカと二人。バスでの保育園の送迎が面倒過ぎるので、今日はお休みした。家中ひっついて回るナノカとうまくやるためには、すべての家事をシェアする必要がある。という事で、掃除をしてもらった。ほうきは、ナノカでも持ちやすいものを見つけて、買った。ゴミは、広がるだけで、掃除は二度手間だったけど、そのうち、戦力になるんじゃないかなあ、と期待している。
Recently I started vegetable garden at our balcony. It is still only one tomato there now. We live in 13th floor and far from the land, and I wonder if Nanoka would have no chance to be familiar with nature even it is so rich around here. It is good introduction to the plant, insects and warms. Also I already made the compost from rice bran and wasted food from our kitchen-I need to plan something anyway.
Nanoka did not know my plan, but just enjoyed watering it-it was just water play for her. But it must be fun to harvest the tomato in the summer!
Today Nanoka absent from the school since husband was on business trip and I was tired of taking her to the school back and forth by bus. So I let her do housework together. I started to collect her size houseworking tools and she tried broom today-it was just spreading the dust, right now. Well,,,I am looking forward to her mastering it someday soon!
