こうばる探検隊 番外編 おおむら湾探検隊 Nature Study of the beach connected Ishiki River

大村湾の干潟で観察会 Nature study at the beach

テッポウエビ、ゴンズイ、ムラサキウニ、ガザニ、ゴカイの卵、テングニシ貝、アコヤガイ、イトマキヒトデ等、さまざまな生き物を見つけました

じゃーん。これは、ホウキガイです。砂にズブっとささってます。踏んだら、怪我するよー。講師の中原さんは、エビの専門家。Mr. Nakahara was the specialist of shrimp. He showed us the unique shell.

みんなで、今まで観察したさまざまな自然を、布に描きました。これから「こうばる探検隊のぼり」になる予定です。We painted nature on the clothes. We will make the flag of "the Koubaru Adventure Crew."

１０月２２日、大村湾、大崎海水浴場周辺で、
こうばる探検隊　番外編　
おおむら湾探検隊　「海と川のつながりを感じよう」
を開催しました。
We did nature study at the Ohmura Ocean at Osaki Beach on Oct.22th.

海と秋に関する歌から始まり、干潟での観察会、お昼ご飯を食べてからの、旗作り、海水浴場での観察会、おやつと「だいちゃんと海」の読み聞かせ。

こうばる探検隊、という名前でありながら、海に行こうというのは、
メンバーに海の専門家がいたから、思いついたことでしたが、
「川が海につながっている」
「水はすべて、つながってる」
「こうばる」の話は、「こうばるではない場所」に影響がある、
ここだけの問題じゃない
と感じ取ることができる、よい会になりました。
We studied not only about beach creatures
but also "the river ran to the ocean"
"All water ran through"
"When Ishiki river was damaged by dam, it is not only the problem of the area,
but also other area such as Omura ocean"

スタッフが、それぞれの知っていること、伝えたいこと、を持ち寄り、
提示する時間もありました。
 「昔からの歌には、季節が美しい言葉で歌われている」
「海洋プラスチック問題」
「７０年前の大村湾が描かれた美しい絵本、だいちゃんとうみ」
「こうばるで、今年も美味しい、自然の柿が実っている」
なにかを、感じて、心に留め置いてくれた子も、きっといることでしょう。
We also studied about plastic problem of the ocean,
read the book which is about 70 years ago of the area
to study how rich nature used to be there,
and we ate persimmons from Koubaru village,
which we could not eat if the Government took their land away
and put the dam there.

相方には、「ゆるい観察会」と揶揄されましたが、
自由が許され、それぞれが、思い思いに遊べたからこそ、
押し付けではない、学ぶこと、があります。
（ゆるい、はきっと、褒め言葉でしょう）

他でも、子どもを通して、いろいろな活動のお手伝いをすることがありますが、
たまに、ぶつかる壁が、
「目的」と「結果」を書類にして、提出してくれ、的な、お役所仕事です。
I recently help some activity related to kids.
Sometimes I faced to the problems of paper work
that asked me to hand in: purpose and result.

微々たる助成金のためだったり、公共の場所を借りたり、
団体の立ち上げに必要だったり、
で、さまざまな書類の提出が求められるのですが、
本気で、短期間で、結果が出せると思ってるのかなあ、と思うこと、しばしば。

そこで、思うのが、
教育の現場でも、こうやって、「今週の目的」「活動」「成果」
という具合に、書類が飛び交って、すぐに、
「目的」が明文化できない「活動」
「成果」が見せられない「活動」
は、切り捨てられていくんだろうなあ、と。
I understood that happen to the school.
They need purpose for this week, activity, and result.
If teacher think they cannot show the result at the end of the activities,
they cut those activities. Then they are easily hunting "result" for kids.

そういう意味で、
ワンシーズンに一つ、観察会を淡々と続けるという、この活動、
助成金ももらわず（もらえるはずもないからだけど）
団体として登録もせず（どこに所属するんだ？）
手弁当で続けているからこそ、こうして、自由でいられるのかな、
と、１年過ぎて、ひしひしと感じております。
We are free since we do not get money from anybody,
so we do not have to give papers to anybody.

冬には、また、こうばるに戻って、焚き火を焚いて、
冬の生き物を観察する予定です。
１１月１８日に、こうばる地区の１３世帯が、まだ住んでいる家屋が、
強制収容も可能となることになっていますが、
まだまだ、観察会を続けたいです。
裏山で薪拾いをして、火を焚いて、焼き芋をして、
冬眠の虫たちを見つけて、、、子ども達が、大好きな活動です。
In winter, we want to go back to Koubaru village to make fire
from tree branches and burn the sweet potates
and find the sleepy insects. Those are kid's favorite activities.

私には、石木ダムの件に関して、住人の方が住み続けられるようにする、
解決手段に即つながる方法を見つけられず
ただ、愚直に、淡々と、観察会を続けていくことしか、できません。
Politically, I could not find any solution to save the villager
from taking their precious land and houses.
Only thing I can do is visiting there with some family
to do nature study to find people who loved Koubaru
and hopefully support them.

ただ、「活動」の中には、
すぐに大きな「結果」をもたらさないように見えても、
深く、人の心に響き、染み渡り、
ゆっくりと変化していくものも、あります。
Some activities did not give the immediate big result
but slowly and deeply influence on people's heart,
and change society.

この変化が、時に、間に合うことを、祈るしかありません。
I just this change would happen before the deadline.
