Yanagawa 柳川

水郷柳川。Yanagawa is the old city surrounded by lots of canals. The tourist from foreign countries on the boat waved to Nanoka, but she was shy to wave back but waved to the car passing by.

すっ かり値が上がってしまって、めったに口に入らないウナギ。ナノカは「何これ！おいしい」て感じでした。もう1つは、親子丼。It is famous for the eel. So we had eel lunch.

つるし雛。家に貰い物の小さな繭玉が１個あるので、「同じ！」と食いつく。Our main purpose was visiting this hanging decoration for Hinamatsuri.

華やかな色合い。Actually this is only one we could see.

財政的な問題もあるが、やっぱりお出かけしたい。連休は、節約ワンデートリップをしようと言う事になった。目的地は、柳川。ナノカがおひな様好きなので、つるし雛を見に行くことにしたのだ。
柳 川と言えば、北原白秋、川下り、ウナギ。しかし、何をするにも、それなりにお金がかかるし、一気に観光してしまっても、もったいない。北原白秋は、ナノカ にはまだわからんだろうし、川下りも今回はパス。隣の大川市で家具を見て、柳川でつるし雛を探索し、お昼にウナギを食べ（せいろ蒸し１個を家族で分け合う、一杯 のかけそば、スタイル）、日帰り入浴をする、というパターンになった。
しかし、このつるし雛、あまり、大々的に見られる所がなかった（もしかしたら、パスした北原白秋がらみの所に、あったのだろうか）。結局、ウナギ飯を食べた「若松屋」さんにあったのを見せてもらったのみ、になった。
つるし雛自体は、華やかで、美しい。繭玉が前面に出ていたが、本来は、ちりめんの端切れで、桃や薬袋、枕やウサギ、と言った意味のあるものを、手作りしていたものを指す。みると、作りたくなる。
Hanging Hina dolls are unique custom at Yanagawa. When baby girls were born, they made some small decorations of silk from old kimono clothes wishing healthy good life of them. We tried out one day trip cheap and skipped famous poet birthplace or boat floating, but just visiting these hangings, but actually not so much we could see. We should have more research before going.
