spot illustration 「母の友」カット

I mainly work for books. I love picture book and novels and any kinds of books.
However, as other artists do, I need to work for other medias.
Actually it is fun. It is different and it is faster and it gives me other point of view.
I do some spot illustration job for magazines.
本の挿絵の仕事以外に、雑誌などのカットイラストをさせてもらっています。
雑誌のカットは、本一冊とは違って、制約や条件が違ったり、納期が短かったり、でいろいろ違います。

I have done two spot illustrations for "Haha no tomo" every months.
福音館「母の友」で、毎月2個スポットを描かせてもらうのも、もう5年目。

They were black and white when it is printed.
印刷される時は白黒ですが、

But originally full color.
原画はカラーです。

These less line mainly water color works are for this year.
今年は線の少ない、水彩のシリーズでやらせてもらっています。

They gave me freedome about theme. I do consider season and space.
This is very good opotunity for me to try new way of working(medium).
スペースだけが決まっていて、とても自由にやらせていただいています。
毎年、描き方を変えているので、新しいミディアムの実験にもなります。
