Tanabata is the day the distanced lovers can meet once a year.
昨日は七夕でしたねえ。
Orihime was Tentei's daughter. She was good weaver.
Her dad introduced her to Hikoboshi, the cowboy.
They instantly fell in love with each other.
But they stop working. No weaving. Cow was stroking.
Dad was mad about them.
They were separated by Milky way(River)
But it was too severe and felt sorry for them.
Dad allowed them to meet once a year on July 7.
It was like 1000 years old story. Amazing!
No e-mail, no phone or no skype at that time.
Maybe letter was only tool to keep in touch.
That is why people in old days had good calligraphy skill
and make good poems. Romantic!
それにしても、古いけど、かわいいお話。
当時はメールも電話もスカイプもなかったわけで、
多分、手紙が唯一のコミュニケーション手段。
それで誠実な愛を伝えるために、字もうまくなっただろうし、
詩も心をこめて詠んだんでしょうねえ。

ええ話です。
一年に一日しか逢えなければ、きっとどんなことでも相手を許し合え、一緒にいられる一分一分を惜しむように大切に過ごせたでしょうね。
