We are now in Sasebo 佐世保住民になりました〜

Sorry to be absent here for a long time. Our new apt doesn't have internet access, yet, and I am so at lost at the top of the hill. Today I went down the hill with pc and Nano on my back for internet. I noticed that I am so addicted to the internet,,,I am one of the moder human being thought I have such a beautiful view of nature on my sight. Anyway, after a week I will inform a short story of our moving. We left Yokohama on June 1 at 4pm and we moved to my parents house around 8:30pm on the same day. We had one night stay there and left there next day to Sasebo. My husband drove 1300km by himself (since I am typical paper driver) and we arrived at Sasebo on June 3 at 7am. This is the photo from the hill next to our hill(Sasebo is hill city) after a long drive before we went to our apt. You can see thousands of island behind Nano. It is just beautiful view. The view from hill is so beautiful including our apt but so hard to come down to up for shopping. There is absolutely nothing on the hill. Anyway I am getting used to the life here. Food is great and people are friendly and relaxed. I have so many stories about moving and life here and hopefully come back here to write again very soon!
ご無沙汰しております。無事、引っ越しは終わったものの、インターネット接続に苦労しています。まだ、あと１週間ぐらいかかりそう、、、との事で、たえきれず、今日は山を降りて、佐世保駅前のカフェに来ています。せめて、無事到着のご報告だけでも、と思います。６月１日の午後4時に横浜を出発し、途中、実家に一泊。６月３日の朝７時頃に佐世保に着きました。１３００キロを一人で運転した相方は、さぞかし疲れた事でしょう（私は典型的なペーパードライバーなので、役に立たず）９時の鍵引き取りまで時間があったので、うちの裏の山の展望台で「佐世保到着」記念写真を撮りました。ナノカの背後に九十九島がよく見えます。素晴らしい眺望ですが、例のごとく、ナノカは遠景があまりわからないようで、ぼーっとしています。わたしたちの住んでる所も佐世保湾が一望で、素敵な眺めです。見に来た時に、「どうして、ここの人は、こんな素敵な所に住まないんだろう？」と思ったのだけど、住んでみると、本当にあり得ない修験道のような階段を上り下りに使わなくてはならず、バスは１時間に一本以下（それもなぜか、登りしかない。いや、理にかなっているのか？）都会に毒された私は、見ただけで「ムリ」て思ったものの、実際にやってみると、なんとかなってみたりして、、、ちなみに、その階段を、おばあちゃんが荷物もって登ってるのは圧巻で、「日本１００歳バンザイ」みたいな番組に出てくるのは、こういう暮らしで鍛えてる人かなあ、と自分の弱った精神と足腰を反省したり。
